Hot Flash: Lit Match<\/strong> (Queer Dance Party and Book Social)<\/span>
Hot Flash opens Lire Queer Reader Fest with an evening of books, connection, and dancing. The night begins with Lit Match, an English-language literary activity hosted by Lenore at 7 PM sharp (doors and sign-up at 6:30). Meet other LGBTQ+ book lovers through a series of short, timed conversations about your favourite queer reads \u2014 bring books to share or swap if you like. At 7:30 PM, the event shifts into a lively, lesbo-centric, multigenerational dance party with DJ MIM, open to all. Montreal\u2019s Metonymy Press and Mes Pants de Queer will be on site with books for sale throughout the evening. Samosas will be available (cash only), and Pizza Bouquet is right next door. For those who want to keep the night going, karaoke starts at 10 PM.
